Gaganyaan is the India's first crewed mission developed by (ISRO) Indian Space Research Organisation.

First uncrewed test flight  and first crewed flight planned for 2024.

After first crewed flight, India would be the fourth country in the world to launch crew on it's own spacecraft.

India would be the fourth country after Russia, United states and China.

Gaganyaan will consist of two parts, first is crewed module (CM) and second is service module (SM).

Gaganyaan will launch from Shriharikota with help of Human Rated Launch Vehicle (HRLV) update version of ISRO powerful rocket Launch Vehicle Mark III (LVM3)

Gaganyaan will carry 3 astronauts to an orbit of 400 km, for 3 days mission, after 3 days it will land in Indian ocean.

In second uncrewed test flight ISRO will send a humanoid female robot, name Vyommitra.  Who can control and read instrument panels in spacecraft.

After Gaganyaan, ISRO will launch Mangalyaan-2, Shukrayaan-1, INSAT 3DS, X-ray polarimeter satellite.
