Our Mliky Way galaxy formed 13.6 billion years ago.

According to NASA there are 1500 planets present within 50 light years of Earth.

These result are based on PLANET (Probing Lensing Anomalies NETwork) collaboration, which was founded in 1995.

This study said that there are more planets just like Earths and Jupiter sized.

Rough estimate from this survey would point more than 10 billion terristrial planets across our Milky Way.

With total of between 800 billion to 3.2 trillion planets are there.

As per study in 2016, there are 4,696 potential candidates of Earth like habitable exoplanets.
