Watch Quadrantid Meteor Shower, 120 Shooting Stars per Hour!

American Meteor Society  said that, this meteor shower will be most powerful in 2024.

Quadrantids meteor shower is name from the constellation Quadrans Muralis.

Quadrantid meteor shower is only noticeable from the Northern Hemisphere. In between Bootes and Draco, near the end of the Huge Dipper’s handle in the northern skies.

Quadrantid meteor shower occurs because of the existence of dust and debris left in the inner solar system by the Asteroid 2003 EH1.

Quadrantids are linked to an asteroid called 2003 EH1. This asteroid completes one orbit around the Sun in roughly 5.5 years.

In the United States and Canada will be during the pre-dawn hours, from 4:53 a.m. EST to dawn, on January 4th, with the peak expected at 7:53 a.m. EST
